Molly Jaeger >Past Projects >kelmanworks Collaborations kelmanworks |
These collaborations began in June 2003 when Bob Lockwood of the Kelman Group visited Portland OR to continue working with Scott Kelman and the Portland group. Together we created (Incredible) Things Happen on the Way to Other Places, a performance exploring methods for using the improvisational techniques of kelmanworks in the devising process. The international collaboration has continued through residencies in England & the U.S. The intention of these meetings has been to deepen abilities in kelmanworks, share ideas for areas of growth, and to create works. Together we have performed numerous unnanounced public improvisations in outdoor spaces, including the Leeds City Art Gallery, New House Hall, the Portland Esplanade, and many many others. In 2004 I received a grant from the Regional Arts and Culture Council of Multnomah county to attend the first residency in England. |
